Who these terms are with
setpos.gg is run by a private individual in Germany (“setpos”). Contact details are in the Impressum. How setpos handles personal data is covered by the privacy policy.
What setpos is
A free hobby project. Useful, but not guaranteed to be right or always online.
setpos.gg finds grenade lineups in professional Counter-Strike 2 match demos, reviews them and turns them into guides, videos, console commands and Workshop practice maps. It’s free and needs no account.
Lineups are detected automatically and checked by a human, but they can still be wrong, incomplete or outdated, for example after Valve changes a map. There is no right to any particular feature, lineup or availability. setpos may change, pause or end the service or any part of it at any time.
Using setpos
Personal use and sharing are welcome. Abuse isn’t.
You may use setpos.gg for your own practice and play, and share links to any page or lineup freely, including in videos, streams and team chats. Please don’t:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download lineups, videos, images or data, beyond what normal search engines do,
- re-upload setpos videos or guides as your own, or use them in a commercial product without asking first,
- overload the site, probe it for security holes or get around its limits. If you find a vulnerability, please report it privately instead,
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or other people’s rights.
setpos may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Commands and practice maps
setpos commands such as setpos and setang are standard CS2 console commands.
They only work where cheats are enabled, like your own practice server or a Workshop map, and
do nothing in matchmaking. setpos.gg doesn’t modify your game or its files. Follow the rules of
any server you play on.
The setpos Workshop practice maps are distributed through the Steam Workshop. Using them is also subject to Valve’s Steam Subscriber Agreement.
Content and trademarks
Valve owns the game. setpos owns what it made.
The setpos.gg website, its design, code, texts, guides and the arrangement of its videos are made by setpos and protected by copyright. Counter-Strike 2, its maps, radar images, in-game footage and related marks are the property of Valve Corporation. Player names, team names and event names belong to their owners. They appear on setpos only to explain where a lineup comes from, not to suggest any endorsement or partnership.
setpos.gg is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Valve Corporation, HLTV, or any team, player or tournament organizer.
Removal requests
If something of yours is on setpos and you want it gone, just ask.
Players, teams, event organizers and other rights holders can ask for a lineup, video, name or anything else to be removed or changed. Write to with a link to the page and what you’d like changed. Requests are reviewed promptly, and content is removed when there’s a good reason, without argument.
Discord community
The setpos Discord is the place for questions, ideas and lineup reports. Be decent: no harassment, hate, spam, cheats or scams. Discord’s own terms of service and community guidelines apply there too, and moderators may remove posts or members who break the rules.
Liability
setpos is free, so it’s only liable for serious fault.
Because setpos.gg is provided free of charge, setpos is liable only for intent and gross negligence. This limit does not apply to injury to life, body or health, to claims under the German Product Liability Act, or where a longer liability is mandatory by law.
setpos links to outside websites such as the Steam Workshop and Discord. Their operators are responsible for them; setpos has no control over their content.
Changes to these terms
setpos may update these terms when the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes apply from the moment they’re published here. If you keep using setpos.gg afterwards, the new terms apply.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you’re a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory laws of the country you live in. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
